Dental Assistant – Experience Preferred, Willing to Train the Right Fit
We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our fun and supportive team! Experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right person who has a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn and grow in the dental field.
Our ideal candidate is friendly, organized, confident with patients, and enjoys working as part of a team. We value clear communication, reliability, and creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of procedures
- Preparing and breaking down treatment rooms
- Sterilizing instruments and following infection-control protocols
- Taking digital X-rays and documenting accurate clinical notes
- Reviewing post-treatment instructions with patients
- Maintaining supplies and helping keep the clinical area organized
- Supporting the front office and other team members when needed
- Helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
What we’re looking for:
- Dental assisting experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
- Positive, professional, and dependable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow
- A team-first attitude with a great sense of humor
- Radiology certification and CPR certification preferred, as required by the state
